1 Indian Army Man Killed, 3 injured in Pakistan Firing on LOC

Pakistan violated ceasefire early on Monday morning along the Line of Control (LoC) in Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district, the Indian Army said, adding that, The Indian Army is retaliating effectively.

This comes after Pakistan on Wednesday violated ceasefire in Poonch sector of the state.

In this fresh violation of ceasefire, one Indian Army man was killed, while three others were injured.

Pakistani Rangers also initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation in Chakkan da Bagh crossing point where the Line of Control (LoC) trade centre is located.

The firing which began at about 5:30 a.m stopped at about 7:15 am.

Earlier, on 6:30 pm on Sunday Pakistan violated ceasefire here evoking an effective reply from the Indian Army.

Earlier, Pakistani Rangers also initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation in Chakkan da Bagh crossing point where the Line of Control trade centre is located.
