17 year Old Kashmiri Girl Missing in Jammu Since Friday Violence

Amid a flare up in violence in Jammu post the attack on CRPF convoy in Pulwama district of South Kashmir, a 17 year old girl has went missing from the area.

The family of the girl identified as Sameera Akhtar, told The Kashmiriyat over phone that Sameera had went to the nearby shop to purchase detergent powder.

Residing in a rented accomodation in Bag e Bahu area of Jammu, she did not come back after that, his father told The Kashmiriyat.

Sameera, a 17 year old girl had moved to Jammu in December, and is a resident of Khag area in Budgam in Central Kashmir.

The family memebrs told The Kashmiriyat that they have registered a missing report in the comcerned police station, Bagh e Bahu.

They parents asked the people to help the people find Sameera, who went missing on February 15.

Violence had erupted in Jammu and other North Indian states after the killing of 45 CRPF men on Thursday.
