Authorities on Monday have imposed a strict curfew in district Kulgam in view of civilian and militant killings in South Kashmir.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that police announced the curfew over loud speakers early morning on Monday.
Meanwhile restrictions have been imposed throughout Kashmir including Pulwama, Islamabad, Shopian, Srinagar, Sopore, Baramulla, Trehgam, Bandipora.
Thirteen militants and four civilians in three different gunfights in two districts of southern Kashmir.
Three army men were also killed during the gunfights.
Over 200 civilians were also injured in various clashes across south Kashmir on Sunday.
Mobile Internet and railway Services were also suspended following the encounters.
Educational institutes are also closed as a preventive measure.
