Militants Offer Gun Salute to Bashir Lashkar on First Anniversary

Militants on Sunday night appeared in Soaf Sahli, the native village of Bashir Lashkar and fired shots in the air to offer gun salute to their slain commander.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a group of seven to eight Militants appeared in the area shouting slogans in favour of Bashir Lashkar at his native area in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District.

They said that the Militants later offered Fateh Khawani to Bashir Lashkar after which they fired in the air as a mark of respect to their slain colleague.

Bashir Lashkar, the slain commander of Lashkar e Taiba was killed in a Gunfight last year on IST July.
