Cloudburst Hits Tral, 4 Recovered from Flashfloods in Udhampur

A cloudburst hit the Gutroo and Naristan areas of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama, triggering flash flood in these areas and the flood waters damaged a road in Aripal village.

Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a house was damaged and paddy fields were affected after flash flood hit the areas late night on Tuesday.

Meanwhile Two women and as many children were rescued from a flash flood in Udhampur district.

They were crossing the Ghordi ‘nallah’ in the district last evening when flash flood occurred in the drain, a police officer said.
