At least sixty five persons were injured during intense clashes that began around Quimoh area in South Kashmir Kulgam District on Wednesday after the killing of two Local Militants.
The youth in large numbers along with women and old men hit the streets after the news of the killing two Local Militants, Altaf and Umer spread in the area.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that at least sixty protesters were injured during the clashes when youth hurled stones upon the troopers in retaliation.
Hospital Officials in PHC Quimoh told The Kashmiriyat that at least 65 people with injuries have been admitted in the Quimoh PHC while four of them were referred to Islamabad (Anantnag) District hospital for treatment.
The clashes were however going on as thousands of people marched to the Quimoh belt to attend the funeral of Slain Militants.
Mobile internet has been suspended in Kulgam and Islamabad District and Train services have been suspended to South Kashmir amid a complete shutdown in the twin districts.
