No Encounter, Only Search Operation Going on in Baramulla- Says Police

The Government Forces on Wednesday launched a massive Cordon and Search Operation in the Taripora Forests of Baramulla in North Kashmir.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched an Anti Militancy operation in the area.

They said that following an input about Militant Presence in the area, the troops jointly launched a CASO.

Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the forces rushed to the forest area and a massive search operation has started.

“No Contact has been established with the Militants yet,” a Police official said.
