Army Interacts With Locals in South Kashmir Area

The Commanding Officer 1 RR Bn on Saturday interacted with village elders including Muqdams, Sarpanchs, school teachers and Awqaf committee members at Redwani Bala in South Kashmir’s Kulgam District.

As per an official press release issued to The Kashmiriyat more than 100 locals from various villages attended the event which was addressed by the commanding Officer of 1 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army.

He assured the locals that the camp recently launched in the Redwani locality  is for the benefits of locals and Army is always there  for help and support of the locals.

The CO, 1 RR also stated that the Army will never interfere in the day to day affairs of the locals and will assist them in all possible ways, However he also clarified that sloganeering, gun salutes will not be tolerated.
