63-Year-Old Yatri Dies on Way to Amarnath Cave

An elderly Amarnath pilgrim died on Monday due to a cardiac arrest at Baltal base camp in central Kashmir district of Ganderbal.

Reports said that a 63-year-old pilgrim identified as Prahlad Rai, a resident of Rajasthan complained of severe chest pain at Baltal.

Rai was immediately rushed to nearby medical camp where he breathed his last.

From the last 21 days, many people usually elderly pilgrims died en-route holy cave, and most of them have died due to the cardiac arrest.

Meanwhile a fresh batch of 3178 Yatris Left for the Amarnath Cave on Monday.
