A Sea of People reaches Pulwama to Attend the Funeral of ex Policeman

Tens of thousands of people today reached Nehama area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama to attend the funeral of Slain Hizb Militant, Irfan Ahmed Dar.

Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that women and men in large numbers gathered outside the home of the slain Irfan Ahmed amid high pitch pro Independence slogans as the body of slain reached his home.

The body of Irfan from here was marched with respect and amid intensified emotions to a local ground in the area where people from as far as Islamabad (Anantnag) and Srinagar had already gathered.

People in droves of dozens and hundreds marched from many villages making the gathering mammoth.

Special police officer namely Irfan Ahmed dar, a resident of Nehama area of Pulwama decamped with Ak 47 from Police station Pampore and joined Militancy on 27 June this year.

Irfan was killed in a gunfight early morning on Thursday with one of his colleague in Budgam’s Chadoora area.
