Achabal Shuts for the Third Day Against Civilian Killing

The Achabal area in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (anantnag) district have shut for the third consecutive day against the killing of the 20 year old boy Nasir Ahmed.

Shops, Business establishments, oil stations and educational institutes remained closed in the area, while the streets wore a deserted look with no traffic on them.

People in large numbers were seen flocking to the house of the slain to express solidarity with the family of the slain youth.

Nasir was allegedly killed in Army firing on June 17, his body was found a day later near the site where an encounter was underway between Militants and Government Forces.

The Police has said that they are investigating the matter.
