After Pulwama, Ummat e Islami Organizes Blood Donation Camp in Islamabad (Anantnag)

The Jammu Kashmir Ummat e Islami, District Islamabad (anantnag) organized a Blood Donation camp at Idara Tehqiqat e Islami in Islamabad, More than 50 Donors donated blood to the full capacity of the blood storage at DH Kulgam. The camp was organized less than 10 days after Ummat e islami organized a Blood donation camp in Pulwama where 60 pints of blood were donated.

The camp was organized in the memorial of Ummat e islami, patron and slain Mirwaiz of South kashmir, Dr. Qazi Nisar Ahmed. and other martyrs of the Kashmir valley. People especially youth in large numbers visited the camp and donated blood for the Kulgam Hospital where there is a dire need of blood.

Speaking on the occasion, Irshad Ahmed Attari said that such blood donation camps are a dire need of the hour as Kashmiri youth continue to be facing the brunt of Indian Forces at various places. “Many youth die in need of blood, our camp is a small effort to help these youth and dozens others who are poor to afford blood,” Irshad Attari said.

Ummat e Islami spokesman, Bilal Ahmed Mir on this occasion said that Ummat e Islami will be organizing more such camps throughout the South Kashmir.

Ummat e Islami demanded the release of Ummat e Islami leaders and activists booked under PSA including Qazi Ahmed Yasir, Aijaz Ahmed Noori, Khurshid Ahmed, Mohammed Ashraf and other political prisoners including Ghulam Qadir Bhat, Noor Mohammed Kalwal, Ayaz Akbar, Masarat Alam,  Mushtaq Veeri, Sarjan Barkati, Misbah Ahmed, Peerzada Mohammed Ashraf, Mohammed Shafi Shriyati, yasin Malik, Shabir Shah, Nayeem Khan, Jamaat e Islami members and all others.

Pertinently earlier Ummat e islami district Pulwama had organized a Blood donation camp at Kangan Pulwama where at least 60 pints of blood were donated. At last the organizers thanked the District Hospital Kulgam for supporting the initiate.
