After Yatris, Tourists, NIT Students Leave Kashmir Valley

After asking Amarnath Yatris and tourists in the Kashmir valley to return home immediately, the Government of Jammu Kashmir issued an order on Friday evening asking the students of National Institute of Technology to return home.

“This is to inform that all the students of the institute that the class work for all courses stand suspended till further orders,’’ a order issued by NIT registrare said. “The above notice stands issued in accordance with the instructions received from district administration Srinagar.’’

on Saturday morning, the students at NIT Srinagar packed their luggage and boarded various buses leaving the Kashmir valley.

This order came hours after the local Administration issued an advisory asking tourists and Amarnath Yatris to return from the Kashmir valley.

Panic has gripped Kashmir after the order and the addition of paramilitary troopers to Jammu Kashmir.
