“Back to Villages” in Full Swing in Doda- Officers Assure Full Help to Residents

Two days “back to village” programme concluded in panchayat Ghar at Block Dali-Udhyanpur Doda successfully on Tuesday, All the front line workers attended the programme.

The Visiting officer Ayaz Ahmed Natoo interacted with PRIs and other senior citizens of the area who appraised the grievances of the area. Also, he inaugurated and checked various developmental works constructed under MGNREGA and other schemes.

He also visited all the governmental institutions including Government schools, Anganwadi centers, food stores and health centers functioning in the panchayat.

The visiting officer assured them that all their demands will be taken up to higher authorities.

The visiting officer found that there is acute shortage of teaching staff in all the educational institutions functioning in panchayat ugad.

He also noticed deplorable condition of road from 3rd Aul road to HS ugad, lack of proper infrastructure in schools and non drawl of payments of material component of works constructed under MGNREGA.

On the next day a special Gram sabha was conducted in high school Ugad in which all the PRIs senior cizens and others members of gram panchayat participated in huge numbers and a thread bare discussion of demands as well as problems faced by the people takes place.

People of panchayat ugad appreciate the program launched by government and appeal to the government that such programme will also take place in future.
