Braving Rain, Thousands Join Slain Ishfaq’s Funeral in Sopore

Thousands of people on Monday reached Sopore to attend the funeral prayers of a local Lashkar e Taiba h militant who was killed in an encounter in Langate area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Locals told The Kashmiriyat that thousands of people defying the cold thronged the native of Ishfaq Majeed Mir in Brath Kalan area of Sopore to attend the funeral of the slain Militant.

As per reports available to The Kashmiriyat, 23 year old Ishfaq Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Majeed Mir resident of Gund Mohalla Brath Kallan Sopore, had  joined Militant ranks in July last year.
