A Cordon and Search Operation has been launched in Sheikhpora of Veer area in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district on Wednesday evening.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that RR of Indian Army and Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched the anti Militancy operation after receiving an input about Militant movement in the area.
The CASO has been launched after all the entry and exit points to the area were sealed.

Earlier an encounter in which two Militants were killed had erupted in the district’s main town.
