A new song of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, titled “Mera Na”, was released on Friday, a month ahead of his first death anniversary. The song was released on the late singer’s social media handles, which are managed by his family. On YouTube, the track has already garnered over 7.2 million views and 1.6 million likes. Nigerian singer Burna Boy, who had met Moosewala’s parents last year in the UK, has done rap for the track. Steel Banglez has given the music. Students belonging to different faiths have been organizing Iftar for their Muslim friends, in Karnataka’s Bidar, reported Muslim mirror. The students at Shaheen Group of institutions, prepare plates of fruits, pakoras, and Rooh Afza, etc. on a daily basis. While the Muslim students break their fast, their non-Muslim friends serve them food and drinks. A Hindu student said that they prepare Iftar for their Muslim friends every day. “We find peace by doing this, we also want to be a part of Ramadan,” she said, adding that she feels happy seeing an environment like this. “I really feel lucky in helping Iftar for my Muslim friends,” she said, adding that the atmosphere during the Iftar presents a sense of unity.

Unknown persons attacked a Sikh priest with a sharp-edged weapons and chopped off his leg in Punjab's Tarn Taran district, Police said. The priest identified as 32-year-old Sukhchain Singh was attacked last night in Khadoor Sahib town and the attackers managed to escape after the incident, Senior Superintendent of Police Gurmit Chohan said, as per news agency PTI.
