At least Five Youth Arrested During Night Raids in Dialgam

ISLAMABAD
November  07 The Government forces raided the Dialgam Locality in Islamabad (Anantnag) District of South Kashmir and arrested five youths during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that at least five youths have been arrested in the Her Dialgam locality when forces raided the Village around 1130 in the night. They were detained in  Dialgam when the Forces including Jammu Kashmir Police barged inside the houses of the youth and took them into detention. A Police official while speaking to The Kashmiriyat confirmed the arrests.

Under Construction Building Collapses due to Snowfall

November 05 Waris Shah/ Sheikh Nadeem Due to fresh  snowfall in valley many buildings have suffered damage in south kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District. In a similar incident an Under-construction four floor building of Mohammed Yaqoob Reshi, resident of General Bus Stand of Islamabad (Anantnag) collapsed at  Gen Bus stand at 3 pm in Islamabad (Anantnag). Locals told The Kashmiriyat that in the accident no Loss of life or injury was reached. The Local Police immediately reached on spot further investigation taken up.  

Kishtawar Sinthan Road Closed Due To Fresh Snow Fall

November 03 Sheikh Nadeem With moderate showers, lightning and winds, the high-altitude areas of  Sinthan Marwa in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday received a fresh snowfall. Reports said that overnight, the snowfall started in the higher reaches of Sinthan Marwa. The snowfall followed torrential rains that lashed large parts of Jammu and Kashmir bringing down the mercury by several notches. The plains of Kishtwar district witnessed incessant rains, while the hilly regions recorded fresh snowfall on Saturday. The recently opened Kishtwar-Sinthan-Anantnag road also recorded a fresh spell of snowfall. Vandalization in the Day, Raids and Arrests in the Night at Islamabad (Anantnag) Area

October 31 The Locals in Damhal Khashipora area of Dialgam in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District have accused the Government Forces of vandalization in the locality during a cordon and Search Operation launched in the area on Tuesday noon. Locals from the area told The Kashmiriyat that forces barged into several houses in the area and smashed the window panes and the doors of the houses and later in the night they arrested at eight seven youth from the area. They said that forces raided the area and thrashed several youth before taking them forcibly into detention. 7 Year Boy Killed by a Speeding Vehicle in Islamabad (Anantnag) Area

October 30 Waris Shah/ Sheikh Nadeem A seven year old boy was killed after being hit by Vehicle at Cherpora area of Shangus in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) Distract on Tuesday. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the Child identified as Hurair Mudasir Son of Mudasir Ahmed Khanday aged 7 was hit by a Tata Supo bearing the registration number JKO3C 0949. Locals Accuse Forces of Vandalization During CASO in Islamabad (Anantnag) Area

October 30 The Locals in Damhal Khashipora area of Dialgam in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District have accused the Government Forces of vandalization in the locality during a cordon and Search Operation. Locals from the area told The Kashmiriyat that forces barged into several houses in the area and smashed the window panes and the doors of the houses. "People normally think, house (shelter) is a safe space, but we Kashmiris are not safe even in our houses, Forces enter our houses and do whatever they want," a a Khashipora resident told The Kashmiriyat. They said that forces also abused men and women and before they left they had caused a huge damage to civilian property. An official denied the allegations.

CASO Launched in Islamabad (Anantnag) Areas

October  30 The Government Forces on Tuesday launched a cordon and search operation in Damhaal Peer Takiya and Ara Khoshipora areas of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Tuesday, the forces including 19 RR of Indian Army sealed all the entry and exit points to the area. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a heavy contingent of forces reached this Islamabad (Anantnag) localities and are conducting a search operation in the areas.
