Mohammed Mufeez A CRPF man was injured in a grenade explosion in Pulwama district district of Jammu Kashmir on Sunday, police said. Militants threw a grenade on CRPF personnel near Tral bus stand in Pulwama district of South Kashmir. The explosion caused minor injuries to the CRPF Jawan assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Asim Ali.

Former militant shot at in Pulwama by ‘Unidentified Gunmen’

Unknown gunmen on Thursday evening shot at a former militant in Kakapora area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an ex-militant identified as Tanveer Ahmad Sofi (30), son of Ghulam Muhammad Sofi of Sofi Mohalla Kakapora was shot at near J&K Bank Kakapora. He added that Tanveer received bullet injuries and was shifted to hospital for treatment where his condition is said to be critical. He added that he was affiliated with Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and later surrendered. He was later engaged in Sericulture department, officials said, adding that the forces reached the spot and cordoned off the area to nab the attackers—(KNO)

Skinder Gull Unknown assilants on Friday evening shot at a 14 year old boy in Lethpora area of South Kashmir's Awantipora district. An offcial told The Kashmiriyat that a 14 year old boy was shot at in Lethpora area when some heated argument ensued between locals and the gunmen who were boarding a SUV fired at him. Identified as kushdil Gulzar, recieved bullet in arm and was immediately rushed to shifted to SDH Pampore for treatment. After first aid he was immediately discharged from hospital. Meanwhile police has initiated investigation in this regard.

Skinder Gull Two CRPF men were killed and three others injured after militants attacked a joint security forces’ party at Kandzal area of Pampore in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district. An official said that five CRPF men sustained injuries in the militant attack, who were shifted to hospital for treatment. CRPF spokesman for operations (Kashmir) Junaid Khan told that among the injured two CPRF personnel succumbed. Soon after the attack, officials said that traffic was been halted in the area and a massive search operation has been launched by the army’s 50 RR and joints teams of police and army to nab the attackers.
