According to officials, the injured trooper has been shifted to 92 army base. Mohammed Mufeez One militant has been killed in the ongoing encounter that broke out between militants and Government forces in Machoma of Tral area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district on Thursday morning. An official told The Kashmiriyat that on Monday morning Indian Army's 42 RR, 182 Battalion of CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police launched a hunt in the area after receiving inputs about Militant movement in the area. During this cordon, the hiding militants opened fire upon the forces triggering an encounter. During the exchange of firing, one unidentified Militant. Skinder Gull A barrack of the Police Station in Awantipora in Pulwama in South Kashmir was damaged in a fire which broke out early morning on Wednesday. An official told The Kashmiriyat that fire emerged from a building inside the Police station at around 8:10 AM on Wednesday morning. However the fire tenders immediately reached the spot and brought the fire under control within twenty minutes after it erupted. As per the official, the first floor of the building was partially damaged in the fire incident, however, there were no injuries were reported from the incident.
