April 17 The Government Forces on Wednesday morning launched Cordon and Search operation (CASO) in Gulshanpora of Tral area in South Kashmir's Pulwama District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a search operation has been launched by 42 Rahstriya Rifles, Jammu Kashmir Police and 180 BN of CRPF jointly  in Gulshanpora area of Tral. Following specific inputs about Militant movement, All the entry and exit points of the area have been sealed on Wednesday morning. April 09 At least three Militants on Tuesday managed to escape during a cordon and Search operation launched in the Aripal area of Tral in South Kashmir's Pulwama district. Officials told The Kashmiriyat that 42 RR of Indian Army, 180 BN of CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched a cordon and search operation in the forest of Aripal area following an input about Militant movement in the area. April 09 An encounter has started between militants and Government forces at Sofigund area of Tral in  South Kashmir’s Pulwama District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Tuesday morning,  42 RR of Indian Army, 180 BN of CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police after receiving inputs about Militant presence in the area laid a cordon and search operation in the area. Four Militants Killed in Early Morning Encounter in Pulwama

April 01 Four Militants have been killed in an encounter that raged between Militants and Government forces in Lassipor area of South Kashmir’s pulwama District on Monday morning. Officials told The Kashmiriyat that following inputs about Militant movement in the area, the RR of Indian Army, SOG of JK Police and CRPF laid down the Search Operation jointly. After nearly four hours of search operations, contact was established with the Militants, who had been holed up in the area. In the ensuing gunfight, four militants who are believed to be associates of Lashkar e Taiba have been killed. Their dead bodies have been recovered and identities are being ascertained. Mobile internet services have been snapped in the area.
