One Militant Killed in Ongoing Tral Encounter

November 09 One Militant has been reportedly killed in an encounter that started between Militants and Government Forces in the Dar Ganie Mohallah of Tral area in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District on Friday Officials told The Kashmiriyat that 42 RR of Indian Army, SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police and 180 BN CRPF jointly launched the Anti Militancy operation. Earlier Forces had launched a Cordon and Search Operation in the area upon receiving a specific input about the presence of Militants in this Tral area, Sources told The Kashmiriyat. 2-3 Local Militants from South Kashmir were believed to be holed up in the area, Locals told The Kashmiriyat. November 09 The Government Forces on Friday launched a cordon and search operation in Dar Ganie Mohallah of Dadasara area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Friday morning, the forces including 42 RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police sealed all the entry and exit points to this Tral area. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a heavy contingent of forces reached this Tral locality and are conducting a search operation in the areas. November 07 A causaul employee of Power Developement Department was electrocuted on Tuesday evening in Bandzoo area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that Shabir Ahmad Sofi, a resident of washbugh Pulwama, was electrocuted while restoring power supply line at Bandzoo after the recent snowfall in the Kashmir valley. They said that he was repairing a wire on an electric pole when accidentally he came in contact with a live wire, He received a shock as result of which he fell down.
