Residential House Damaged in Fire incident in Tral

Mohammed Mufeez A residential house was damaged in the Trag Mohallah area of Tral town in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district late on Monday night. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that massive fire broke out in the double-storey residential house of Mohammad Amin Shah son of Abdul Majeed Shah, who is a resident of the Tral town in Pulwama district of South Kashmir. A team of Fire and Emergency Services department reached the spot and doused the flames, however,  In the mishap, the first floor of the house was completely damaged while no loss of life or injury was reported. “If the fire wasn’t controlled on time, it would have done massive damage even to other structures as well,” a local said. The blaze is said to have been triggered by a short circuit, as per the family members....

The Jammu Kashmir Police in Awantipora on Sunday claimed to have arrested one Militant associate in the Chandpora area of Pampore in South Kashmir's Pulwama District. in a press release issued to The Kashmiriyat, the Police said that Awantipora police received information regarding the presence of Militants of  Lashkar-e-Toiba in a hideout constructed in a particular house in village Chandhara Pampore in Pulwama. Upon this information, Police along with 50 RR and 110 Bn CRPF carried out the search of the said house today morning and during the search, one large hideout was found in the cowshed of the said house. Skinder Gulzar At least seven civilians were injured after Suspected militants hurled a grenade on security forces at Tral Bus stand in South Kashmir's Awantipora on Saturday. An official told The Kashmiriyat that Militants on Saturday hurled a grenade on Seema Suraksha Bal on duty at Bus stand Tral, however, the grenade missed the target and exploded on road.
