CRPF Bunker Attacked in Srinagar, Police Recoveres Arms and Ammunition

The Jammu Kashmir Police on Friday claimed to have recovered following arms and ammunition from a vehicle in Lawaypora area of Srinagar.

Detailing the incident Police said that during a Naka checking in Srinagar, a Maruti vehicle bearing the registration number JK13 C  2094 was stopped near Dilshan Hotel Lawaypora, Srinagar.

 

Upon checking the vehicle two rifles, one AK 47, one Insas and One hand Grenade and a cash of  5 lakh was recovered from the possession of two people in the vehicle.

The two persons were also taken into detention by the Jammu Kashmir Police.

Meanwhile unknown persons on Friday night hurled a grenade of CRPF camp (132 BN) located near Palladium cinema in Lal Chowk area of Srinagar.
