Eight Civilians Injured in Pulwama Grenade Blast- Police

Eight civilians have been injured in a grenade explosion in Pulwama district of south Kashmir on Tuesday afternoon.

A Police official said that suspected militants lobbed a grenade towards police station in Pulwama, however the grenade exploded near the wall of the gate, on the roadside, causing injuries to eight people.

He said that eight pedestrians injured in the attack were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, two of whom have been critically injured.

The Government Forces immediately following the blast launched a hunt to nab the attackers.
