The Government Forces on Wednesday afternoon laid siege around the Gund Brath area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramullah District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Wednesday, the forces including RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police laid down a cordon and search operation in the area.
Following a specific input about Militant movement in the area, the forces sealed all the entry and exit points to the Gund Brath area.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a heavy contingent of forces reached this Shopian locality and are conducting a search operation in the area.
