The Gujjar community of Kashmiri people on Thursday protested in Deputy commissioner’s office in Islamabad (Anantnag) against ‘atrocities by Army.’
Speaking to The Kashmiriyat they said that from the past few days Indian Army has been raiding their locality in Pahalgam and have arrested several youth during nocturnal raids.
“This behaviour of Indian Army is intolerable, without any provocation they are arresting our youth,” a protester sad.
Demanding the immediate release of the youth, they said that the youth are innocent bread earners to their families.
He said that one woman died as Army raided the locality in the dark of night, “The raid created fear and a woman died because of heart attack.”
Speaking to The Kashmiriyat they said the youth should be immediately released.
