One Militant body has been recovered so far from the encounter site at Khatana Mohallah in Godal area of South Kashmir’s Kokernag area on Friday.
Police officials informed The Kashmiriyat that after a massive exchange of gunfire, the firing has stopped now and the forces are jointly conducting search operations in there.
“One body has been recovered so far, but the forces are still searching the area, as more bodies are believed to be under the rubble,”a police official posted in Koernag told The Kashmiriyat.
He said that the identity of the Militant is still not known.
