A Few gunshots were heard during a Cordon and Search Operation launched in Tulinowpora area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam District.
Earlier, Following specific input about Militant movement in Tuli Nowpora area of Kulgam, the government forces had laid a siege in the area.
The Anti Militancy cordon and search operation is being jointly conducted by RR of Indian Army and Jammu Kashmir police.
The troops have initiated a search operation post blocking all the entry and exit points to the Tuli Nowpora area.
The search operation was going on when this report was filed.
