Hailstorm on Wednesday damaged several areas of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that heavy hailstorm in second half of day caused heavy damage to apple orchards and vegetable fields.
As per news reports, the affected areas include Magzam, KB Pora, Mirwani, Gandwani, Nihama, Harwath, Jaibal, Hallan, Tangmarg and many other areas.
We request government to assess the loss and compensate us accordingly,” a group of affected farmers said.
