Health Centre Kehripora in Islamabad (Anantnag) Turns into a Cowshed

The residents of South  Kashmir’s Kehripora  village in Islamabad (Anantnag) District complained that the Primary Health Centre (PHC) located in their village lacks staff and basic facilities as they are being forced to visit other places for medical treatment.

Locals here while speaking to The Kashmiriyat alleged that, “The  PHC was established In 2008, the authorities had promised us that all kind of medical facility will be made available here as the Health Centre caters to a vast area.But the pathetic condition of the building has made the inhabitants of the area suffer.”

According to locals there is unavailability of staff, Basic Facilities and building which was constructed ten Years ago has turned into cowshed.

The BMO Larnoo upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat said that we run PHC in a private Building also we have conveyed to higher authorities regarding this matter.

“We soon will take  initiative to complete building and other facilities will be available in PHC, so that residents do not suffer more,” the BMO told The Kashmiriyat.
