January 09

Posters claiming to be from Militant outfit, Hizbul Mujahideen have appeared in various areas of Kokernag belt in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district since Tuesday morning.

The outfit has issued a stern warning to the elected candidates of recently concluded Panchayat elections, through the posters written in urdu language. “While young Kashmiris are sacrificing their blood for the cause, some opportunists are still looking for power,” the poster reads.

The poster further reads that the outfit wants them to resign else the outfit can attack them anytime.
