comfortable facilities to the passengers.

charges from Brariangan to Anantnag which has been objected by the locals &
they also informed the concerned Tehsildar & police officials but transporters
refused to run the sumo service to the said village & the locals arranged the

Appreciable performance of Technical Assistant (Imtiyaz Ahmad Wani) of Rural Development Dept. at Halqa Tailwani Block Achabal of South Kashmir.

70% population of India is living in rural areas & our govt. is achieving the target of developing rural areas at alarming speed to eradicate poverty from our villages. National as well as state govt. has launched many schemes to develop the infrastructure & economy of poor villagers throughout the country by providing them job opportunities. MGNREGA is the main scheme developing rural areas by generating man days for unemployed people to sustain the poor by providing wages headed by concerned employees. Under the same scheme Halqa Tailwani of Achabal Block has been developed by constructing lanes, drains, irrigation channels, roads & cleanliness of water bodies under the jurisdiction of a Technical Assistant Imtiyaz Ahmad Wani. He along with his team has really changed the fate of the said village. The team of media observers inspected the work culture of the said Halqa & observed the best performance in the field of rural development. In this Halqa two roads have been undertaken by the concerned officials & completed within the prescribed time, one connecting the Goripora main road with Tailwani & another one connecting Darpora Khundroo with Tailwani with the estimated cost of 4.00 lacs & 5.00 lacs respectively.

The locals appreciated the Team of Imtiyaz Ahmad (TA) for the construction of two big roads connecting many wards of the said area together .Young & honest officers are the indispensable asset of the society because their contribution & performance is constructive, facing many harsh challenges in prevailing conditions but still strive to develop their societies.
