A cordon and search operation has been launched by Government Forces in GadHanjipora area of South Kashmir's Bijbehara area.
Officials confirmed that the operation was launched following a specific tip off about the presence of Militants in the area.

At least 5 youth have been arrested from Dialgam areas of South Kashmir's Islamabad District.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the Government Forces raided the locality late night on Friday and arrested some youth.
"2 youth were arrested from Haer Dialgam while three were arrested from the Bon Dialgam area," Locals said.
Meanwhile the area is observing a complete shutdown.
Youth In large numbers gathered at Haer Dialgam and blocked the roads, Sources told The Kashmiriyat.
Meanwhile CRPF vehicles were stoned by youth, who in return chased the protesters away.
The protest was going on when this report was filed.

Following an Input about the presence of Militants in Anachidoora area in Islamabad Main town, the Government Forces launched a cordon and search operation in the area.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 1RR of Indian Army and 40 Battalion of CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police launched the CASO jointly sealing all the entry and exit points to Sedow area.
A door to Door search operation has been initiated to find the militants believed to be hiding in the area.

Minor Stone Throwing Clashes erupted in Janglat Mandi area of South Kahsmir's Islamabad township after Friday Prayers.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that Scores of youth threw stones on the CRPF Camp located in the Ganjiwara area.
The troops tried to chase away the protesting youth, however the youth grouped in massive numbers and continued throwing stones on the camp.
More troops were rushed to the spot who chased the protesters away.
Situation had been restored to normalcy when this report was filed.

Massive Stone Throwing Clashes erupted in Dialgam area of South Kahsmir's Islamabad District on Thursday.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that youth threw stones on troops deployed in the Her Dialgam area.
The troops Fired tear smoke shells force to disperse the youth, however the youth grouped in massive numbers and continued throwing stones.
Locals while speaking to The Kashmiriyat alleged that the troops barged into houses and ransacked property of locals.

The Residents of Waghama area in South Kashmir's Bijbehara area have alleged that they are facing shortage of Drinking water from the past 3 Months
The Locals of the area while speaking to The Kashmiriyat alleged that despite several complaints the PHE Department has been unable to restore water supply to the area.
"Since we have had issues of Drinking water from the past three months, Now locals use water from a Local Canal, Which Is Very Much Polluted," a local told The Kashmiriyat.
Upon contacting the PHE Department, they said that they will restore the Water supply in the area as soon as possible.

Government Forces resorted to Aerial Firing in Aishmuqam area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District on Monday evening.
Sources told that The Kashmiriyat Scores of youth took out a procession after the conclusion of Annual Torch Festival (Zool) in Aishmuqam.
Sources said that upon reaching the Police Station some youth pelted Stones on the Police Station after which the Forces used Aerial firing to disperse the protesters.
The Police has denied any reports of firing.
The Station House Officer of Aishmuqam told The Kashmiriyat that the reports are baseless, nothing as such happened.
