Kokernag shuts to remember Bashir Lashkar

The Kokernag and Dialgam belt of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) are observing a complete shutdown on the first anniversary of Slain commander of Lashkar e Taiba, Bashir Lashkar.

Shops, Business establishments, Educational Institutes are shut in the area while vehicular movement is very thin in the areas.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that hundreds of people have visited soaf, the native of Bashir Lashkar since morning to offer Fateh to the slain Militant commander.

Bashir Ahmed wani, one of the most popular commanders of Lashkar e Taiba was killed in an encounter with Government Forces in Islamabad District on July 01.
