Lok Sabha Phase 4 Elections- Final Voting Percentage is 10.2%- Live Updates

As 72 Lok Sabha constituencies across nine states, mostly in the Hindi heartland, go to polls today in the fourth phase of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP will defend 45 of the seats it won in the 2014 Lok Sabha battle.

These include 13 in Rajasthan, 12 in Uttar Pradesh, five in Madhya Pradesh, three in Bihar, three in Jharkhand, eight in Maharashtra and one in West Bengal.

An estimated 12.79 crore electorate will be eligible to exercise their franchise in 13 seats each in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, five in Bihar, eight in West Bengal, three in Jharkhand, six in Madhya Pradesh, 17 in Maharashtra and six in Odisha.

Polling will also be held in the second of the three phases in Jammu Kashmir’s troubled Anantnag constituency. Voting will begin at 7 am and continue til 4 pm at all polling booths.

8:52 AM: Polling percentage upto 0800 hours parliamentary election phase 4 for second leg of Anantnag constituency. Kulgam 0.0% Noorabad 0.5% HS Bugh. 0.1% Devsar 0.3% Overall percentage 0.2%

9:23 AM: Overall Polling percentage upto 0900 hours= 1.3%

Kulgam= 0.5% Noorabad = 5.9% 3. HS Bugh = 0.4% Devsar. = 4.9% Overall Polling percentage upto 1000 hours= 2.8%

11 10 AM: Total voting percentage till 11 am is 3.69 Percent in the entire district

11: 20 AM: Intense clashes erupt in Bugam and Aastan Mohallah Quimoh, Locals of Redwani accuse forces of barging inside home, Say they (forces) vandlized property.

11:45 AM: Kulgam 0.8% Noorabad = 9.1% HSbagh=0.5% Devsar =7.9%.

11: 52 AM:  Out of 3444 electors eligible for vote at five polling station in Bugam, no vote was cast till 10.am.

Meanwhile, at 12 polling stations including Quimoh, Redwani, Khudwani, only 6 votes were cast till 10 AM, At Khandipahari 77 Polling booth only 21 votes were cast out of 576 Votes while at Khandipahari 79 Booth 47 Votes were cast out of 1043 Votes till 10 AM.

At Wanpora A 21 Votes were cast out of 660 votes, At Wanpora B only 3 Votes were cast out of 649 votes.

At Sofigund 22 Votes were cast out of 660 Votes till 10 AM.

12: 15 PM: Clashes erupt in Kujjer, Wokay areas of Kulgam.

01:00 PM: 6.67 % Polling in Kulgam : The voter turnout increased to 6.67 percent at 1 pm in Kulgam district amid stringent security arrangements, officials said.

The overall poll percentage in district Kulgam at 01:00pm was 6.67 per cent, the officials said.

02:00 PM: Polling percentage upto 02:00 pm parliamentary election phase 4th for Anantnag, Kulgam 0.89%,  Noorabad 14.49%,   HS Bugh 0.69%,   Devsar 11.42%

Overall Polling percentage upto 02:00pm= 6.66%

03:00PM for Anantang Kulgam PC:   Kulgam: 1491 (1. 5%)   Noorabad: 13599 (17.8%)    HS Bugh: 712  (0.9%)   Devsar: 13567 (14. 9%).

Total votes= 29369 out of 343548, Overall percentage= 8.5%
