A Cordon and Search Operation has been launched in the Handew of Imam Sahib in South Kashmir’s Shopian District on Friday.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Government Forces including 44 RR of Indian Army and Jammu Kashmir Police launched a joint Anti Militancy operation in the area following specific input about Militant presence in the Handew area.
Locals said that a heavy contingent of Forces have reached the area and are conducting a search operation in the area.
The search operation was going on when this report was filed.
