Missing Policeman Joins Lashkar e Taiba

Militancy in Kashmir is growing despite the request of top Government Force officials to stay away from gun culture.

In fact in the recent past, Government Force personnel have been decamping with service rifles to join Militancy.

In a similar development, Tariq Ahmed Bhat, a Policeman Who had decamped with his service rifle in April this year from pakherpora has joined Lashkar e Taiba.

Son of Mohammed Abdul Lala of Khasipora in South Kashmir’s Shopian District, Tariq Ahmed is a Graduate from Kashmir University.

His photo carrying an AK 47 Rifle announcing his entry into the Militant ranks has gone viral over the Social Networking platforms.

Lashkar e Taiba has been regaining ground since the death of their Divisional Commander, Shakoor Ahmed Dar, in Fact Tariq is the fourth youth to join Militant ranks in two days.

Government Force personnel in the past too have decamped with rifles to join Militant ranks.

On 10 April Army man namely Idrees Ahmad Mir son of Mohammad sultan Mir resident of Safanagri shopian who was posted in Bihar with Jammu and Kashmir light infantry (JKLI) also joined militant ranks.

In year 2017 constable Ishfaq Dar from Heff shopian, Constable Syed Naveed Mushtaq from Nazimpora Shopian and an army man Zahoor Ahmad from Sirnoo village of Pulwama had also joined militant ranks.
