Not allowed to Book Hotel, Political Leaders to Meet at Mufti’s Residence today Evening

The pro establishment groups  PDP, National Conference and others will meet at the residence of PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti’s residence today at 6pm to discuss the ongoing situation in Jammu Kashmir.

Speaking to the media, Mehbooba Mufti said that the meeting that was to be held in a hotel initially but had to be moved since police had advised hotels against hosting political parties.

“We had made an effort to tell the people of India and government of the dire consequences if they toy with Articles 35A and 370.”

Mehbooba Mufti said that they made an appeal too, but no assurance was provided yet from Centre.

Amid speculations, the Indian Home Minister Amit Shah will introduce the Jammu Kashmir Reservation bill tomorrow, ANI reported.

The bill aims to implement 10% Economically Weaker Section quota in Jammu and Kashmir.

Shah on Sunday met the Home secretary Rajiv Gauba and NSA Ajit Doval in his office in Parliament.

The situation is also likely to be discussed at the Union Cabinet meeting to be held tomorrow morning.
