The Municipality Committee of Bandipora on Thursday led by its Chairman Khursheed Ahmad along with Staff of MCB conducted a cleanliness drive at ward number 11 and ward 12 of District.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that scores of employees along with the locals of the area participated in the sanitation drive after which the chairman of the body, Khursheed Ahmed appealed the people of Kashmir to keep their surrounding clean.
The general public of the concerned wards appreciated this drive with a hope that the drive will continue in future.
On this occasion, the chairman appealed the people of the two wards to use dustbins and not throw garbage anywhere.
