Snowfall has started in the Shopian District in South Kashmir on Friday afternoon, whilst other districts in Kashmir are still awaiting fresh snowfall.
The MET Department of Jammu Kashmir has predicted moderate to heavy snowfall in plains of the Kashmir valley for the next 72 hours.
“Snowfall has come at a right time and people are enjoying it, the crops, the rivers need the snowfall at this point of time,” Abdul Rashid, a farmer from Shopian said.
