Shutdown and a Day of Funerals in Shopian, Pulwama

The Pulwama and Shopian Districts of Southern part has shut down to mourn the Killing of six Militants during two separate encounter with Government Forces.

The Pulwama, Shopian districts have shut spontaneously as the news of the killings spread in the area on Tuesday.

The Kashmiriyat was informed that traffic is off the roads, while business establishments are shut in the area on Wednesday for the second consecutive day.

The authorities have also suspended classwork in educational institutes.

Thousands of people have gathered for the funerals of Slain Militants and civilians in the Pulwama and Shopian Districts of South Kashmir.

Taranas (Pro Freedom Songs) are being played in most of the mosques of the district on Loudspeakers.
