Shutdown, Taranas in Pulwama, People Continue to Visit the Families of Slain Youth

The Pulwama District of Southern part has shut down for the fourth consecutive day to mourn the Killing of three Militants and Seven civilians in the Sirnoo area of South Kashmir on Saturday.

The Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam and Islamabad (Ananatnag) districts had shut spontaneously as the news of the killings spread in the area on Saturday.

The Kashmiriyat was informed that traffic is off the roads, while business establishments are shut in the area on Tuesday for the fourth consecutive day.

The Government has also suspended classwork in educational institutes while as railway services have also been suspended in South Kashmir.

The Shopian District of Southern Kashmir is also observing a complete shutdown.

Hundreds of people are still visiting the houses of Slain Militants and civilians in the Pulwama District of South Kashmir.

Taranas (Pro Freedom Songs) are being played in most of the mosques of the district on Loudspeakers.
