Six Injured in Fresh Dog Attacks in Uri

Six people have been injured in fresh dog bites in Uri town of North Baramulla district on Thursday morning.

Speaking to The Kashmiriyat a Police official said that six people were bitten by stray dogs at Dawaran area which included a woman and a 70-year-old man.

The injured were immediately shifted to the sub-district hospital Uri for treatment, two of the injured have been referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment.

The Injured were dentified the injured as Mohammad Ashraf aged 70, Arbaz Ahmed aged 13 Dawood Ahmed, Amina Bano and Tanzeel and Binya Amin.

The Jammu Kashmir Government in 2018 had said that 30,711 dog bite cases were reported in Srinagar alone during the last six years.
