Stone Throwing Clashes Erupt in Pulwama, Slow Internet Restored in Parts of South Kashmir after 5 days

Clashes between protesters and government forces erupted in the main town area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district against the Killing of ten people including three Militants in the Pulwama District.

A Local told The Kashmiriyat that scores of protesters assembled near the main road of Police station and pelted stones on forces who responded to immense tear smoke shelling.

A complete shutdown was observed in the district for the fifth day on Wednesday, after which clashes erupted.

Seven civilians and three Militants were killed on Saturday after a gunfight raged on Saturday morning in Sirnoo area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama District.

Meanwhile Internet on Mobile phones has been restored in Parts of South Kashmir other than the Police District Pulwama after remaining barred for a span of more than five days.
