Pulwama Gunfight- 3 Militants Reportedly Killed-Live Updates

June 29 Three Militants have reportedly been killed at Pulwama where an encounter had raged at Chatpora area in South Kashmir on Friday afternoon. Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that 55 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir police are jointly conducting the Militancy Operation. June 27 A Special police officer namely Irfan Ahmed Dar resident of Nehama area of Pulwama who decamped with Ak 47 from Police station Pampore in South Kashmir where he was posted has joined militant ranks. He was not found at police station since yesterday evening at police station Pampore after which manhunt was launched in the area to trace the cop. June 10 The Jammu and Kashmir Police has conducted an intensive study of 156 local youth who joined militancy from 2010-2016. The 74 Page report as accessed by The Indian Express is based on the interviews of the families, friends, relatives and the affiliates of the militants. The report also negates the radicalization factor and says most (71%) of the new age militants come from Hanafiya families against 3 per cent of Salafi families and 23% from Jama’at e Islami families.
