“They Dubbed my Video”-Former Judge Booked by Police for Inciting Violence

The Jammu Kashmir Police has booked former Sessions Judge of Islamabad (anantnag) and national conference leader  for inciting violence against Forest Department.

In a video available to The Kashmiriyat, the former Judge Syed Tawqeer Ahmed, while addressing a rally in Kokernag area of district told the people that if the forest department closes the roads of the public, cut down their hands.

In this regard, the Police has filed an FIR number 7/19 against him at Police Station Larnoo.

Speaking to The Kashmiriyat Syed Tawqeer said that the voice in the audio is not his, “They have dubbed the video, it is not my voice,” he said.

He said that in the hour of technology nothing is impossible, “Some people within the political ranks are trying to de-legitimize me, all i said was the dwellers of forests have more rights on it,” he told The Kashmiriyat.

He said that the case of video in Jawahar Lal Nehru university which was dubbed with fake voices proves that nothing is impossible in this era of technology. (The Kashmiriyat)
