Two More South Kashmir Youth Join Militant Ranks

The report published by the Central Investigation Department recently revealing that funerals and encounter are fuelling Militant recruitment is finding recognition with every passing day as more youth continue to flank Militant ranks after every encounter.

Amid these growing encounters two more youth from South Kashmir districts of Shopian and Islamabad (Anantnag) have joined the Militant ranks.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Adil Ahmed Dass son of Abdul Rehman Dass, a resident of Waghama in Bijbehara area in Islamabad (Anantnag) District has joined Militant outfit Lashkar e Taiba.

His photograph with a gun has gone viral over the social networking.

Meanwhile another youth who has posed with a gun has been identified as Showkat Ahmed Dar, a 12th class passout.

Son of Nazir Ahmed Dar, Showkat is a resident of Muran area of Pulwama District and has joined the Militant outfit Jaish e Muhammad.

Locals from Muran Pulwama told The Kashmiriyat that Junaid had been missing since the 16th of July after the attack on the house of NC leader Ghulam Mohuddin Mir in Pulwama.

One Policemen had been killed and two rifles snatched from them.

The Militant recruitment in the first 7 months of 2018 has already crossed 100 and there seems to be no halt to it even though Indian Security Forces are concerned and trying to woo away youth from Militancy.

2018 is so far the year of highest Militant recruitment in the recent past, the recruitment  has picked pace after the three encounters that were held on 01 April this year.
