A special police officer (SPO) was shot dead by suspected militants at Vehil area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that
Khushboo Jan, a woman SPO was shot at around 2:40 pm at her residence in Vehil, Shopian.
In the incident, the lady SPO was suffered and later shifted to the nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Meanwhile Government Forces have cordoned off the area and launched a hunt to nab the assailants.
