Yatra Buses Meet Accident- Locals Rush to Help- At least 10 Injured

Two Yatra buses met an accident on the Kashmir Highway on Saturday afternoon in which 10 persons sustained injuries.

Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that two Yatra Buses travelling towards Amarnath from Jammu collided near Railway Station area in harnag area of Khanabal in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district.

The collision resulted in injuries to ten yatras, the injured have been rushed to the District Hospital in Islamabad (anantnag) where the injured are being treated.

A Yatri speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that the Locals of the area rushed to the spot and brought out the injured yatris from the buses. Thanking Kashmiri locals, he said ,”Locals here are very helpful.”

The Police and the CRPF also rushed to the spot and helped the locals.

Hospital Officials confirming the accident to The Kashmiriyat said that as of now ten Yatris with injuries have been brought to the District Hospital in Islamabad (anantnag).
